A CONVERSATION ABOUT
WOMEN, GIRLS, PHILANTHROPY
& SOCIAL IMPACT

DETROIT WILL BE KICKING OFF THIS IMPORTANT CONVERSATION:

Taking place annually on National Philanthropy Day, This Mission Is Possible: A Conversation About Women, Girls, Philanthropy, and Social Impact highlights fresh and new-fashioned thought leadership conversations that blend in multigenerational voices led by multi-dynamic personalities; including corporate executives, foundation heads, non-profit leaders, philanthropists, and fearlessly kind and civically minded social media influencers.

WHAT'S THE MISSION?

A Movement Towards Social Innovation and Philanthropic Equity

Igniting Our Spirit, Heart, and Imagination

Creating a consciousness of human kindness and sameness between Women and Girls while simultaneously inspiring the next generation of philanthropic and social impact leaders.

A CONVERSATION ABOUT WOMEN AND GIRLS

These conversations affect the people we love most: Our sisters, daughters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, cousins, nieces, friends, and neighbors. Hardships facing women and girls occur frequently and must be addressed. This Mission Is Possible Foundation intentionally and pragmatically builds an audience of Gen Z students that radiate multiculturalism with shared gender participation, including MEN and BOYS, as a framework for building positive social change.

spirit • heart • imagination (SHI) Award

Nonprofit leaders play a fundamental role in creating equitable and thriving communities, often acting as first responders.
Nonprofit leaders address long-term needs, establish social policies, and advocate for change.

Annually, and in cities nationwide, This Mission Is Possible Foundation proudly:

Advocates for philanthropic equity on behalf of the many driven and passionate female nonprofit leaders who are spearheading ways to solve female-centric (yet family and community-focused) social problems, navigating solutions, and creating a profound social impact.

Advances Fundraising, Education, and Training by providing professional fundraising and educational training, consultation, and support. Awardees receive funding grants for general operations and a meaningful lineup of philanthropic branding and marketing assets.

Awards, Honors, and Showcases  nonprofit leaders working on the front lines, presenting four (4) awardees with the Spirit Heart and Imagination (SHI) Award.

EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM

designed for Generation Z

The three (3) most captivating and compelling objectives of
This Mission is Possible Foundation:

The Development of Generation Z
Future Philanthropists and Social Impact Leaders

To Expand the traditional social studies curriculum for junior and senior high school students and first- and second-year college students by introducing a rudimentary educational framework in Philanthropic Studies. The TMIP extra credit curriculum narrates how philanthropy supports 2% of the US GDP and why this is important. Students (male and female) will learn the meaning of philanthropy (“love of humanity”) and philanthropic giving, stressing the importance of the need for philanthropic equity within our society.

To Engage Generation Z in some of the real-time, on-the-ground social impact work that women lead in their communities and worldwide.

To Introduce diverse philanthropists who are devoted to sharing their giving history, interests, and investments, explicitly focusing on missions supporting women and girls. The TMIP educational curriculum is designed to help students begin thinking about being intentional innovators as participants and influencers in civil society.

Philanthropic News Digest asserts that this emerging generation is showing early signs of being among the most generous and philanthropic generation in history, and it’s on nonprofit leaders to avow to earn their support.

YOUNG DONORS WANT A CAUSE TO BELIEVE IN — SO LET’S GIVE THEM ONE!

This Mission Is Possible because an intergenerational sea change is happening in America. Almost half of the Gen-Z are minorities compared to 22% of Baby Boomers. Generation Z is considered more accepting and open-minded than any other generation. The spending power of Gen-Z is on the increase, and it is estimated their spending power at over $360 billion in disposable income.
