Philanthropic & Social Impact Conversations

This Mission Is Possible advocates for Philanthropic Equity for leaders and organizations that work in the complexities of crucial social challenges facing women today, encompassing sexual and domestic violence, human trafficking, homelessness, female incarceration, gender inequality, poverty, healthcare disparity, fetal mortality, mental wellness (including substance use disorders and developmental disabilities), education, and equity within arts, science and culture.

Because women comprise just over 50% of the US population, we aim to build consciousness and outcomes toward dedicated philanthropic giving that prioritizes giving to women and girls (especially women and girls of color) from the current 2% to closer to 25- 50%.

Total philanthropic giving to women and girls of color is just $5.48 of funding per year for each woman and girl of color in the United States.

Taking place annually on National Philanthropy Day, This Mission Is Possible: A Conversation about Women, Girls, Philanthropy and Social Impact highlights fresh and new-fashioned thought leadership conversations that blend in multigenerational voices led by multi-dynamic personalities, including corporate executives, foundation heads, non-profit leaders, philanthropists, and fearlessly kind and civically minded social media influencers.

The platform is rooted in increasing compassion and knowledge by spreading awareness of how critical societal components intersect and what a vitalized and uplifted community looks like for our families and our world when civil society supports the betterment of humanity by purposefully supporting the needs of women and girls (especially women and girls of color).

We aim to bring forth meaningful and lasting social change through this platform. We Intentionally configure an audience assembly that radiates multiculturalism and shared gender participation (men and boys) as a framework for building positive social outcomes.

  • Spotlighting, honoring, and supporting the many driven and passionate female non-profit leaders that are leading the way in solving female-centric social problems by remarkably navigating solutions and having profound social impact.
  • Spearheading the “call” and need for philanthropic equity.
  • Advancing a philosophy of shared sameness between women and girls while simultaneously inspiring the next generation of leaders.
  • One of this platform’s most compelling strategic goals is to introduce Generation Z to some of the real-time, on-the-ground social impact work happening in their communities and around the world, along with establishing a foundational framework in philanthropic studies through an extra-curriculum program at the junior and senior high school and collegiate levels.
